Cheese heaven


  • 4 lbs potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sorrow


Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. In a large pot put the potatoes, garlic, chicken broth, milk, salt and pepper. Cover and leave it to boil at high temperature, for about 45 min, or until the potatoes are completely soften. Chop the potatoes with hand blender until the mixture becomes completely creamy. Add the three types of cheese in the mixture and leave to cook for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter add the sorrow and let it boil about 30 seconds. Pour the hot butter on the puree and salt. Puree can be served with chicken and white wine.
